Safely and reliably test DWV (drain, waste and vent) systems with the Test-Tite Natural Rubber Pressure-Relief Pneumatic Test Plug. Available in a variety of sizes and suitable for use in PVC, ABS and cast-iron piping systems, this pipe plug offers contractors the strongest reusable option on the market for testing shower drains, cleanout tees and sewer wyes. Its pressure-relief valve reduces the risk associated with over inflation by releasing excess pressure into the atmosphere, so the plug doesn't rupture in the pipe. The valve has no moving parts-helping minimize the chance of failure or malfunction-and is integrated into a glass-filled nylon core for protection and stability. Made of a one-piece molded rubber body with no seams or bonded parts, the Test-Tite Pressure-Relief Pneumatic Test Plug is extra durable and designed for reuse. Multiple sealing ribs are built into the center portion of the plug for positive sealing inside the pipe. The ring tag is attached to the nylon core rather than the valve stem for extra rigidity and the large molded plastic tag (at the other end of the chain) won't bend or deform, preventing it from falling into the pipe.
