Sioux Chief 835 Series Trapshield™ barrier-type trap protection device shall be used where necessary to minimize evaporation from trap seals in infrequently used floor drains. Device shall remain normally closed when not in use and open easily to allow free flow of water into the drain. Sealing member/gasket shall provide two points of contact to ensure a positive seal. Device shall be easy to install and remove for inspection or replacement.
